The Winnipeg Science Fiction and Fantasy Association (WinSFA) is the Board of Directors (or “Senate”, as it’s commonly known) for Keycon. We provide assistance to the Co-Chairs, administer the Equity fund for KeyCon, and choose the Co-Chairs, Treasurer, and Hotel Liason for KeyCon. All the members of the WINSFA Senate have had either a long-term commitment to fandom in Winnipeg or experience in the running of KeyCon or other fan-run conventions. Senate meets about once per month. This has provided a continuity and stability for the convention, allowing it to continue for over 40 years.
